West Wilson clarified some misconceptions about his Italian getaway with Amanda Batula.
“Did you see that everyone said that, because I went to a wedding in Italy with Amanda, everyone’s like, ‘They’re fleeing the country,’” the “Summer House” star joked on his and Sophie Cunningham’s “Show Me Something” podcast Friday.
“I think they knew that there was a wedding, but it’s just, like, also whoever took the picture of us in the customs line at the Rome airport, I know exactly what you look like,” he added of the image of him and Batula standing with their luggage.
“I know exactly what she looked like. Blond woman … she did like this [holds phone up] the whole time.”
Wilson, 31, then addressed claims that he made Batula, 34, pick up the tab when they dined in Rome.
“Well, it probably was true. Wait, that’s f–king crazy. They watched her use her credit card?” he asked.
“I handled the flights and the hotels, motherf–kers. How does that sound?” Wilson declared.
The Bravolebrity said he “grew up in a house where [his] family split the f–king bills.”
Two weeks ago, Batula and Wilson were seen leaving the country just before part one of the highly anticipated “Summer House” Season 10 reunion aired on Bravo.
Per photos obtained by gossip site DeuxMoi, the couple was spotted with their luggage in tow at the airport while headed to Italy.
While in the Eternal City, Batula and Wilson enjoyed a romantic dinner at Caffè Wunderbar in Taormina, Sicily.
During their outing, Batula was caught on video spitting into Wilson’s open mouth as they sat on the outdoor patio.
The Bravo stars confirmed their secret romance in March.
The fallout from the romance is playing out on the “Summer House” reunion as Ciara Miller slammed her former BFF Batula for being a “f–king snake” for dating her ex Wilson.
Batula’s estranged husband, Kyle Cooke, poked holes in Wilson and Batula’s relationship timeline by revealing he and his wife broke up the same day they publicly announced their separation in January.
The revelation could prove that Wilson and Batula’s romance blossomed before she and Cooke split — as Miller caught the two hanging out two days before the joint statement was issued.
