Superman star Dean Cain has told GB News how delighted he is to be at Donald Trump’s inauguration, despite having a role in its proceedings snatched away.
Cain told Bev Turner he was due to host the parade which was cancelled due to the cold plunge sweeping across Washington DC.
The blistering chill forced Trump’s second inauguration ceremony to be moved indoors with the traditional outdoor swearing-in ceremony deemed unsafe.
But this did little to quell Cain’s enthusiasm for the event and he has pitched up at the US Capitol to witness what he says will be a “historic moment”.

“This is historic and I want to be here to witness it and experience it - I’m very fortunate. It’s a wonderful event and you’re witnessing history.”
Cain then spoke out on being one of the “select few” Hollywood celebs to have come out in support of Trump.
He thinks more A-listers will follow suit, saying “you’re seeing it all over the place”.
“Everyone is talking more openly. Even the performers last night - Kid Rock I think performed at Obama and Biden’s thing, you should be able to cross lines”, he said.

“It’s been ridiculous. I would advise others not so speak up so much unless you want that kind of heat but for me, I thought it was important to speak my mind and if it got me cancelled, I don’t care.
“I think now it makes me look smart. People should be able to speak their minds and not be cancelled. I work with Robert DeNiro and I don’t like his opinions.
“This is only on one side as well. You don’t see conservatives trying to cancel others.”
Trump has vowed to take swift action immediately after his inauguration as US president, promising a series of emergency measures at a Washington rally.
"Starting tomorrow, I will act with historic speed and strength and fix every single crisis facing our country," Trump told supporters at an arena event on Sunday.
The president-elect, who will be sworn in as America's 47th president today, focused heavily on immigration issues during his speech.
"We're going to stop the invasion of our borders," Trump declared, with his administration indicating plans to launch raids targeting undocumented migrants within days of taking office.
Tech mogul Elon Musk joined Trump on stage, pledging to lead a major cost-cutting drive in the new administration.
Trump's administration has outlined plans to sign over 200 executive orders on his first day in office.
Key measures include invoking a national emergency at the Mexican border to unlock Defence Department funding.
Immigration enforcement will be a priority, with raids planned in major metropolitan areas targeting undocumented migrants.
