Democrat voters are more likely than Republicans to cut down on time spent with family members due to political differences, a post-election survey showed as the holidays ramp up.

The Public Religion Research Institute’s (PRRI) survey posted on December 13 found that “As the holidays approach … Democratic voters (23%) are nearly five times as likely as Republican voters (5%) to say they will be spending less time with certain family members because of their political views.”

PRRI President and Founder Robert P. Jones told Axios, “It may be tense around the Hanukkah and Christmas table. It’s not just that we’re disagreeing about abortion or we’re disagreeing about taxes or even immigration… but we’re disagreeing about a fundamental worldview and about identity.”

Thank you very much and God bless you.

This is so true. A girl cousin of mine whom is in college was ranting about the Olympics that it was fair that a guy dressing up like a girl could get into the ring and box a biological female and that everybody just needs to deal with it and shut up because that's what they identify as we have to accept that.

So I said very quietly. I don't think you'd be too thrilled if you came home and found your father punching the crap out of your mother. Would it be okay if he was wearing a dress?? Crickets after that...

It’s not a political party. It’s a cult.

Perfect response. You can't show people with that mindset any mercy, imho.

Still crickets since 11/6 from daughter and family. Christmas just got less costly.

As Rush used to say (to this effect) "I've never seen a more humorless bunch as liberals"

Tolerance works for the right acting on behalf of the left. One way. Almost always.

The ones permitted, sometimes, to sit silently with their hands folded at a family holiday dinner, not showing any support of Trump. Subject to being sent away if the rule is violated.

William F. Buckley: “I decided that fundamental improvements weren’t going to be widespread during my lifetime and I had better be patient as I fought the battles over liberty and the US Constitution. Everyone was not going to change to my point of view overnight.”
