Syrian Demonstrators Storm German Christmas Markets

On Sunday, December 8th, 11,000 Syrian migrants entered the Christmas market in Essen, Germany, chanting “Allahu Akbar” and firing shots.
Since the beginning of the week, smartphone videos of the scene have proliferated on social media, sparking a number of angry and worried reactions to the scale of the demonstration, the behaviour of the participants, and the poor police response.
This latest gathering of Syrian migrants was known to and prepared for by the police. But the planned demonstration grew in size as the fall of Bashar al-Assad was confirmed, followed by his flight from Damascus, the Syrian capital. The numbers far exceeded advance estimates: with only 300 participants expected, ultimately, thousands of Syrians lined the streets of the city carrying flags.
In the videos circulating on social media, the contrast between the aggressiveness of the demonstrators and the festive, family atmosphere of the Christmas market is striking. Online, some have asked if the choice of location was random or deliberate. They see the targeting of the Christmas market as an offensive by the demonstrators against a symbol of Christian civilisation.

I don’t get why those people don’t have guns of their own and start firing back as soon as that happens. That’s how it should be with every gathering that’s attacked.

Syria is now a fully armed, ISIS caliphate, courtesy of Joe Biden and his Regime Change cheerleaders from both political parties.

They don’t have an equivalent of the Second Amendment.
Germany’s Basic Law reads like the old USSR constitutions.

If it is where I think it is, then it is a people only area. No roads. And it will be a Christmas Market. There is a Jewish synagogue close by that gets a police presence 24/7.
Shota? Guns are only legal at gun clubs and are heavily registered. This is what happens when you let people into your country that do not care about your country.

I am shocked.
I’m shocked the Germans refer to these markets as Christmas markets.
I would have bet they called them Holiday markets.

Best estimates now show that some 15% of the former Syrian original population are now “refugees” inside Germany and France. More up inside the UK, Sweden and Norway on welfare. Almost none are working taxpayers.

"I don’t get why those people don’t have guns of their own and start firing back as soon as that happens." The Marlin 336 has been the best selling civilian firearm in Germany for over 40 years. It's a poor man's "assault rifle" as it can be reloaded before the magazine is empty. It's actually quite effective in that role. "While gun ownership is widespread,[2] and associations and ranges for shooting sports and the use of historical guns and weapons in festivals are not forbidden, the use of guns for private self-defence is restricted.
The German Ministry of the Interior estimated in 2009 that the number of firearms in circulation, legally and illegally, could be up to 45 million.[3] Germany's National Gun Registry, introduced at the end of 2012, counted 5.5 million firearms in use, which are legally owned by 1.4 million people in the country. About 1.5 million sport shooters in several thousand Schützenvereinen ("voluntary shooting sport associations") own and use guns for sport, about 400,000 hunters have a licensed gun, about 300,000 collect guns and about 900,000 own an inherited gun.[3] "
