Ahmad al-Sharaa, known as Muhammad al-Jawlani or Abu Muhammad al-Golani, the leader of the Syrian rebels who ousted Bashar al-Assad and have taken over the country, still has a $10 million U.S. bounty on his head as a wanted terrorist.

A U.S. State Department website, “Rewards for Justice,” says:

Rewards for Justice is offering a reward of up to $10 million for information on Muhammad al-Jawlani, also known as Abu Muhammad al-Golani and Muhammad al-Julani. Al-Jawlani leads the al-Nusrah Front (ANF), al-Qa’ida’s (AQ) affiliate in Syria. In January 2017, ANF merged with several other hardline opposition groups to form Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS). While al-Jawlani is not the leader of HTS, he remains the leader of AQ-affiliated ANF, which is at the core of HTS.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

Working with Osama Bin Laden led to 9/11. Working with Islamic jihadists that formed ISIS resulted in the mass slaughter of Christian in Syria and Iraq and well as the deaths of several Americans.

Does any sane person think working with al-Sharaa is going to work out any better?

Other than Zeepers, I can’t think of anyone here who thinks the Middle East is now better.

Trump will have him wacked and will destroy ISIS again. Getting Hezbollah and the IRGC out was the first priority, and the only way was to destroy the Assad regime.

That’s our boy! Created and supplied by the CIA with Gulf State and Saudi money! We used Timber Sycamore to ship in weapons from Libya and elsewhere.
Then they got embarrassing in 2016 so we acted like we were fighting them while using air assets to bomb the crap our of anyone threatening them. We bombed the Syrian army, we scowled and harassed Russian Air Force bombing them. We called the rebels and democratic opposition rather than jihadis. We killed a couple of hundred Russians getting near our “rebels”.

And we pretend he’s a fugitive.
