Though T1’s players talked about which skins they may choose for their second consecutive Worlds win, the champions they chose for their 2024 commemorative skins have finally been revealed.
T1’s historic run with the ZOFGK roster was one for the ages. Though Zeus’ departure had no shortage of controversy, this roster will no doubt be remembered as the second golden era of T1.
As such, fans of the team have been anxiously awaiting news on which champions the players chose to represent their run.
Now, thanks to a number of leaks, we know which champions T1 picked.
Which champions are getting T1 Worlds 2024 skins?
According to LeagueOfLeaks and corroborated by other sources, the champions that are getting T1 skins are as follows:
- Zeus: Gnar
- Oner: Vi
- Faker: Yone
- Gumayusi: Varus
- Keria: Pyke
Outside of Faker, these selections line up pretty well with what the players originally said they wanted to have on their streams and social media. Meanwhile, Faker said he wanted to pick whichever skin the fans wanted most, and that turned out to be Yone in his eyes. However, that hasn’t kept people from being disappointed it’s not Galio.
Fans wanted this skin enough that they made a completely custom skin for it, complete with T1 logos and their team colors.
However, T1’s 2024 skins won’t look anything like this fan imagining. Rather, they’re slated to have a darker look, taking after the black and red color scheme of T1’s more recent uniforms.
How much will T1’s Worlds 2024 skins cost?
While there has been no official word on how much these skins are actually going to cost, we do have last year’s cosmetics to go off of.
Last year’s prices were as follows:
- T1 skin bundle: 13,220 RP
- Includes all 5 base skins, their Elite Chromas, signed player icons and a ward skin
- Individual skin bundle: 2,530 RP
- 1 skin, 1 Elite Chroma, and that player’s icon
- Individual skins: 1350 RP
- Prestige skin: 125 Mythic Essence
- The Prestige skin goes to the MVP (in this case, Faker) and is only available via Mythic Essence
With Faker getting 2 skins from this Worlds win, his total count of skins in game will go up to 9. He’s got more skins than some LoL champs do.
Do the T1 Worlds 2024 skins have a release date?
The release for these skins is still completely up in the air. If we’re going by the timing in which the 2023 Worlds skins came out, they didn’t release until August 2024 for the 2023 win. It took nearly a year for them to come out.
So, it may be a while yet until we see full splash arts for these skins or get to see them in game. We’ll keep you updated when these skins actually get a visual with them.
