Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves have allowed asylum seekers to live in their spare homes.
Oh no, sorry, my mistake. They're profiting off the fact that you now pay for them to live on Downing Street by letting out their spare houses. Easy mistake to make.
The Telegraph reports that the Prime Minister is now a landlord. It's believed that the home that he bought for £650,000 in 2004 is now worth a cool £2million, and he could be making between 3 to £5000 a month from renting it out.
The Chancellor is also doing rather well. Her husband, who it will come as no surprise for you to learn, is a top civil servant, and Reeves reportedly makes £74,000 a year alone from renting out their house and a two bedroom central London flat.

It's reported that Reeves also has a house in Leeds, so that's quite the property portfolio, but it's nowhere near as impressive as man of the people Keir Starmer, who gets to use Number Ten, Chequers and Dorney Woods.
So let's get this straight. All right. You pay for Rachel Reeves to live on Downing Street. You pay for Keir Starmer to have three houses. You also paid Rachel Reeves £4,400 energy bill for her second home, despite her stopping the winter fuel payment for millions of vulnerable pensioners.
You pay their salaries, Lord Alli and co have paid for their clothes and given Starmer and his family use of his £18million penthouse. They get free tickets to Taylor Swift, a hospitality box at the Arsenal, and now, because you pay for them to live rent free on Downing Street, they can coin it in by renting out their previous homes.
In 2022, Keir Starmer reportedly raked in £400,000 after selling seven acres of greenbelt land in Oxford, Surrey, behind his parents former home. He was later found to have breached the MPs code of conduct by failing to register the sale of the plot of land. However, he got away with a minor slap on the wrist. Of course he did.
The Labour Party are a bit squiffy on property - Angela Rayner used the Right to Buy scheme to buy her council home. Apparently you know that one that caused a load of controversy in the run up to the election. She was cleared of any wrongdoing, but now she says she might stop council homes is being bought using the Right to Buy scheme. Talk about pulling the ladder up behind you.
Still though. Anything's better than Labour's Jas Athwal. He stands accused of being an actual slum landlord. It turned out that there was black mould and ant infestations at some of his properties, and now it emerges that he makes money from a building being used to run a failing children's home. I mean, who is this guy?
The fact is, Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves aren't like you. They're not normal working people. You are lining their pockets whilst they also line their own pockets.
Meanwhile, the boats keep on coming. Your local hotel is probably being used to house asylum seekers. Social housing in your local area is probably housing asylum seekers.
Private rental stock in your local area is probably housing illegal immigrants. Shouldn't they put their money where their mouth is and let asylum seekers live in their spare rooms?
