A Kentucky man who served nearly 30 years in prison for the murders of his mother and brother has killed again - just four months after his release.
Dustin Caudill was 15 when he was arrested for the deaths of his mother Karen Caudill, 33, and younger brother Nicholas, 10, in 1994.
Police at the time said Caudill shot his brother after an argument. He then shot his mother dead when she got home later that night.
Caudill, now 43, was released in 2020 after serving 27 years in prison but was arrested again in 2023 for violating his parole.
Police now say that just four months after his release, Caudill murdered Blake France, 41, and Anthony Garret, 43, before burning down a home in Elizabethtown.

Back in 1994, the killer claimed his mother smoked marijuana and beat him, adding his family was always 'jumping on him and beating on him,' as reported in local media at the time.
Caudill told police that on the night of the murders he 'just snapped.'
'We was playing some cards and we was talking and then he started acting stupid. He just started acting like a little brother,' the killer told police of the moments before he killed his little brother.
