A teen mom has become a viral success after sharing her college application essay online.

Madeleine Lambert's life was flipped upside down when she got pregnant at 13.

The Texas-based mom, now 21, dropped out of high school after she discovered she was expecting and was immediately judged by her peers.

While facing the struggles of motherhood, Madeleine was also suffering from  Trichotillomania, which is a mental health condition that causes people to repeatedly pull out their hair.

Despite the challenges, the 21-year-old reminded herself of her dream - to become a Cardiothoracic Surgeon.

Now, after having received her GED, the mom-of-two is one step closer to achieving her medical goal - and she is sharing her progress with her over 797,000 TikTok followers.

Most recently, Madeleine took to the video-sharing platform to give viewers a glimpse at how far she has come.

She left fans in a fit of tears after sharing her 'beautiful' college essay application for the University of North Texas Health Science Center, which detailed the inspiring story of how she overcame adversity.

Madeleine detailed her heartwarming story in a viral video, which has so far amassed over 7.2 million views.

She shared a picture of her and her son alongside the caption, 'My college application essay that made my mom cry.'

In the essay, Madeleine revealed that she knew she wanted to be a Cardiothoracic Surgeon in eighth grade.

However, things changed when she developed Trichotillomania at 10 and became a mom at 14.

Soon enough, Madeleine's identity was diminished and she became known as 'teen mom' to her peers.

In the essay, Madeleine noted that although strangers have branded her a slew of nicknames throughout the years, such as 'teen mom', 'dropout' and 'Trichotillomania', the one thing that has remained consistent is her career aspirations.

'My name is Madeleine, but one day it will be Dr. Lambert. The world has given me many labels, but this one - this title - I will earn myself, and HSC is the place where I will make it happen,' the 21-year-old said at the end of her essay.

Her tear-jerking essay elicited a flood of emotions from readers, who flocked to the comments section to praise the student.

Speaking to Newsweek, Madeleine said: 'I was doubted a lot by my peers—specifically when I got pregnant. I had so many people tell me I was throwing my life away by keeping my daughter.

'I wanted to show that I am more than that statistic. I want my peers who gossiped about my "failure" to eat their words.'

She admitted that motherhood was 'challenging' but that she was 'confident' as a mom.

The 21-year-old noted that she was excited for the future and was looking forward to showcasing her passion for medicine.
