An Indian tourist killed after he was thrown to his death from a Central Park horse has been pictured, as his distraught relatives say the teen was trying to save his mother’s life.
Romanch Mahajan, 18, and his family were in one of New York’s iconic carriages when the horse suddenly bolted, sending his mother flying out.
“My son, just to save his mother, he fell off. He was screaming, ‘Mom!'” Mahajan’s devastated father, Deepak, told the New York Times.
Mahajan fell on the ground, striking his head, and later died in the hospital following Wednesday afternoon’s shocking incident.
