Kay Adams narrowly escaped serious injury after being hit by a golf ball during this year's NFLPA Classic.
The tournament sees dozens of NFL players battle it out over 18 holes and Adams was among the broadcast team for the event at Mayakoba in Mexico.
Sauce Gardner, Von Miller, Austin Ekeler, and Aidan Hutchinson were among those to tee it up at El Camaleon Golf Course.
But the offseason fun nearly turned very nasty when Houston Texans kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn missed the fairway with his tee shot.
The ball flew towards where Adams was working behind the microphone - not far from the cart path.
Fairbairn's drive landed just short of the popular sportscaster before bouncing up and hitting her.

To say sorry, Fairbairn gave Adams a signed glove which read: 'Help me out next time'
Thankfully, Adams was able to laugh it off - revealing she had her 'head on a swivel' during the entire tournament.
'What do we expect? 72 of your favorite NFL players who are yoked (drunk) out of their minds and competitive and don’t have any accuracy,' she said.
'I was scared. My head was on a swivel. I was very much in the golf cart, I had the shade up the entire time.'
Adams was interviewing quarterback Desmond Ridder moments before being hit. She had just told him that her biggest fear was being hit by a ball.
'Desmond literally said: "You're in prime range to get hit... I think you should move",' she recalled.
Adams was initially told that Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton was behind the errant drive.
'I was like, ‘I’m suing you, I’m mad at you, I can’t believe you just did that’... and then we found the culprit,' she said on her Up and Adams show.
Adams revealed that she gave Fairbairn 'a lot of grief' over his wayward shot but he had his own way of saying sorry.
'By the way, the rizz on this guy,' Adams said. 'Off the charts aura. He comes over and he gave me a glove. It says "Help me out next time" and he signed his golf classic glove.'
