My man went off!
Things haven’t been so good for the Texas A&M Aggies baseball team as they start the season.
Going into the 2025 campaign, the Aggies had the No. 1 ranking. But now, they’re currently facing a situation where they’ve lost four games in a row, losing to Cal Poly, Texas State, Arizona and Oklahoma State.
Making their difficulties even crazier, A&M was the runner-up in the 2024 College World Series. Fast forward to March 2025: the Aggies are now sitting at 5-4 on the season and are at risk of being nixed from the top 25. After a shutout defeat Saturday against Oklahoma State, Texas A&M pitcher Shane Sdao went on social media and absolutely spazzed out on his fanbase, citing “disrespectful” comments that were made.
“Some of the things that I am seeing on X and Instagram are just absolutely disgusting and ridiculous,” wrote Sdao. “We all understand that we are not playing the best of our abilities but the level of hate and disrespect being thrown out is completely unacceptable and out of line. At the end of the day, we are all human, and no one is more frustrated than we are.”

Though I get where Shane Sdao is coming from, there’s another side to this whole thing, and this A&M fan puts it perfectly:
I understand the message and in no way aim to make our Aggie athletes feel worst than they already do for poor performances, but like you said “We are all human” and you shouldn’t expect fans to hold in their frustrations as if yours and others aren’t visible. We deserve better.
