A Texas man could be dinged on criminal charges after he was seen in a viral TikTok video using a real-life baby like a ragdoll to wipe snow off a car, according to reports.

An investigation was opened up after a shocking clip came to light showing the man holding the tiny tot, reportedly only 3 months old, with two hands to clear inches of snow off the windshield of a Hyundai Elantra.

The baby was bundled up in a jacket and face up while the man was in a short-sleeve shirt and pants, according to the footage shared on Facebook by journalist Kevin Steele.

Port Arthur Police Chief Tim Duriso told KBMT last week investigators have interviewed the man, who is 25 years old. He has not been identified because he hasn’t been charged.

“We confirmed that it was a 3-month-old baby,” Duriso said.

Police were initially alerted to the video, leading them to question the man.

“He had two other females with him at the time,” Duriso told the station. “We suspect one of them was the mom. They checked on the baby. The baby was just fine.”

The 3-month-old was placed on the windshield and pushed across the car with the snow.

It’s unclear what the relationship is between the man and the baby he used as a human windshield cleaner.

An arrest warrant for child endangerment could be issued by the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office, according to KFDM.

“It’s a sad situation. I know a lot of people go to social media and they are looking for clicks… but this is not a deal where you should put a baby on the windshield,” Duriso told KBMT.

A rare southern blizzard dumped a historic amount of snow that brought daily life to a half for Texas locals used to sunnier skies.
