How much do I love Jasmine Crockett? Let me count the ways.
Whether the Texas congresswoman is verbally throwing down in the halls of Congress like she’s angling to be Andy Cohen’s favorite Housewife, lip-syncing on Tiktok to a diss track en route to a presidential address, or insulting people with disabilities, she’s simply perfect.
I hope she never changes. Keep shining that light all over cable news!
The Democrat has been taking the country by storm with her thundering political rhetoric, shaming weaklings who aren’t willing to fight against the rising red tide of Trumpism.
In her latest bid to win hearts and minds, called Texas Governor Greg Abbott — who uses a wheelchair after being paralyzed in 1984 when a tree fell on him — “Governor Hot Wheels.”
“We in these hot-ass Texas streets, honey,” Crockett said Saturday while at — where else? — a Human Rights Campaign dinner.
“Y’all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there. Come on now! And the only thing hot about him is that he is a hot-ass mess, honey.”
I totally felt her, honey. But not everyone is as hip as me and Jas. Can I call her Jas?
The spicy pol also had a message for those who objected.
She wasn’t making fun of Abbott’s “condition — I was thinking about the planes, trains, and automobiles he used to transfer migrants into communities led by Black mayors,” she wrote in a statement on X. “Keep that same energy for all people, not just your political adversaries.”
As a transportation enthusiast, and human rights advocate, Crockett was simply swept up in the moment.
So much so she even managed to do the impossible: She got all of the hyper-partisan ladies of “The View” to actually disavow a statement from a pol on the left.
“Marjorie Taylor Greene, we expect that — that’s the only way she can get a headline is by saying crazy stuff and then everyone looks,” co-host Sara Haines said. “Representative Crockett is so much better than this.”
Yes, Greene also has gravitas of a “Bad Girls Club” cast member. But let’s not forget that the two verbally sparred last May in an House Oversight Committee hearing, when Crockett dissed the Georgia pol for her “bleach-blonde, bad-built butch body.”
MTG, in turn, mocked her nemesis’ fake lashes. But she is merely a side character. A rowdy, insignificant heckler in the larger GOP universe.
Crockett, however, is angling for a starring role — one that is completely open as the power structure in the Dem establishment has eroded.
You can find her flooding the zone on cable news, making totally awesome TikToks in the guise of a Mortal Kombat fighter and threatening to “punch” Sen. Ted Cruz.
“I mean, this dude has to be knocked over the head, like hard, right? Like there is no niceties with him. Like at all. Like you go clean off on him,” she said of her fellow Texan.
She’s even promised “a Crockett Clapback Collection” on X, writing, “This collection will feature various swag that includes random things I’ve said.”

I have to admit that I don’t know what she stands for policy-wise — nor it seems, does she. But I admire that she is truly a woman of our reality-show era, where juvenile, bad behavior is rewarded and exalted.
A recent poll from NBC News said that only 27% of registered voters say Dems are doing good job. The left is desperate to change course, and pols have been auditioning to lead the party like it’s a weird season of “American Idol.”
Crockett is jostling with the likes of Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who have taken their “Fighting Oligarchy” tour on the road. Scandal-scarred Gavin Newsom is attempting to podcast his way back into the left’s good graces, lies and all. Connecticut’s “bad-boy” Sen. Chris Murphy is dropping expletive-laden rants on X.
But only one person has proven herself worthy to wear that pink pussy hat crown.
Crockett’s digs at Abbott’s paralysis, which go back years, revealed the emptiness of the progressives’ crusade for compassion. All those lectures about every “ism” under the sun were simply virtue signals.
Funnily enough, this is what she told Forbes of the GOP: “When they can’t come after you on substance, they revert to nasty attacks that lack any complex thoughts.”
Did I mention how self-aware she is?
Crockett is extremely effective at lobbing grenades … which somehow seem to only hurt herself and her own party.
She clearly loves the limelight and will exercise zero restraint in pursuit of it. And Dems should be way more frightened of her than the GOP will ever be.
