Top Trump adviser Stephen Miller and his conservative podcaster wife, Katie Miller, welcomed their fourth child this week – a baby boy with a name that certainly rings a Washington bell.
'It's been a very exciting week in the Miller household,' Katie Miller posted to Instagram on Wednesday. 'Hawthorne Hayes Miller was born on June 3rd at 9:04 am growing our crew to 4 kids 5 and under.
'Babies are the absolute best. Our home is filled with so much love, laughter and joy. It's an incredible feeling to know that you can make an entire person from scratch. I truly recommend parenthood – it's a 10/10 life experience.'
She shared snaps of baby Hawthorne, dressed in a brown and white checkerboard-patterned onesie, alongside Stephen and the couple's other offspring.
The name Hawthorne was also that of a popular, Republican-friendly sports bar on Washington, DC's U Street that had its heyday around the time that the Millers were first courting.
They started dating in 2018 while working in the first Trump administration, and were married at DC's Trump International Hotel in 2020.
The four-story, DJ-focused venue of the same name as their newborn son was open from 2015 to 2023.
So was the baby named after the bar?

Still, the origin of little Hawthorne's name does have a surprisingly 'adulterous' inspiration.
