Asked why the issue was not receiving wider attention, he said: “Nobody's really interested in talking about it because they control the government. They control the courts. They control the media.

“The left-wing paradigm is the dominant paradigm in all of these spaces,” he insisted.

Mr Benjamin went on to claim institutions including the Civil Service were politically captured, arguing they would “always side with their own” rather than figures such as Reform UK leader Nigel Farage.

He warned that ordinary members of the public could find themselves treated unfairly, adding: “You're going to be on the rough side of whatever happens.”
