The Harris-Trump election shouldn’t be close. Here’s why it is.

It is absolutely, completely, totally ridiculous that this election is even close. But here we are.

Also, Harris never whipped thousands of supporters into a frenzy and sent them off to the Capitol, where they smashed their way into the citadel of our democracy, injuring scores of police officers and threatening to hang the vice president, in an attempt to overturn the result of a free and fair election. Trump did.

Yet polls tell us that either candidate could win. The Post’s polling average has Harris ahead by 2 percentage points nationally. The Post also finds that Harris holds leads in four of the seven crucial swing states — 3 percentage points in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, 2 points in Michigan, less than a point in Nevada — but adds a note of caution: “Every state is within a normal-sized polling error of 3.5 points and could go either way.”

The choice between Vice President Kamala Harris and former president Donald Trump should not be a tough call. Harris is a former prosecutor; Trump, a felon.

Explain the legal basis of President Trump's "felony" conviction, Mrs. Robinson.

I dare you.

When I read just the headline I was in total agreement.

She’s right that it shouldn’t be close. It’s astonishing that anyone would ever consider Harris fit for the job.

One of the things that RINOs cannot get their hands around is the simple fact that the Republican repudiation of the base left a GAPING HOLE for Trump, or any other self-financing conservative to walk right into.

If they Republicans had simply LISTENED TO THEIR BASE, Trump would have never even made it to the first debate in 2016 as he would have been laughed at to the point of not qualifying. Instead they chose to attack Trump and thereby attack his voters. So tough Shiite now.

Specific propaganda claims aside, presupposes a fair election.

I foresee a repeat of 1980, when momentum swung hard to Reagan in the final week. I don’t see Trump voters changing their votes, though I could see Harris fatigue seeping into independents and supporters me Harris voters.

O/T, Cruz has unleashed ads on Allred over his support for boys playing girls sports.

Somebody is freaking out, and like a classic liberal their answer is to tell the voters they are stupid and need to listen to their betters.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👍. Oh, okay. Lil’ idiot. That there is even a contest shows just how uninformed a lot of voters are.

Rasmussen says Trump leads by 2 points nationally. If it’s even tied nationally, then Trump is winning all the swing states. Trump understands exactly how tariffs work, he just doesn’t always express his understanding clearly.

Harris is totally unqualified to be President of the USA, and has no serious understanding of foreign policy and national security policy. Harris is extremely left-wing and has no genuine respect for the US constitution as originally written and the rights of the American people as written into our constitution. Harris has no understanding of economics and wants to implement huge tax increases on the productive private sector, which would crush the great American job-creation engine. Harris has no genuine concern about open borders and the thousands of violent criminals and potential terrorits who have infiltrated our country in the last four years.

If Harris wins, we’re in big trouble. Trump must win this election, and I believe he’s going to win the electoral vote decisively.

Has Eugene Robinson “transitioned” to female??

The first time youth voter- not yet old enough to vote in 2020 are the most MAGA.

Unashamedly so.

The bracketing in polling cannot predict how many will be voting for the first time in their lives.

It should not be close Harris is a lush who slept her way to the top. She can’t complete a statement. She failed in every job she had. Leaving San Fransisco worse off, then leaving California worse off, the leaving the country worse off. The Washington Post is merely propaganda. It wants a drunken word salad president that does not understand what is going on, so the swamp can run itself. And the Post would love that, because it too is run by the swamp.

She seemed to forget about the Wa Compost complicity in the Russia Collusion election interference hoax which would be an ACTUAL felony compared to Trump’s hoax felony.
