The Issue: The International Criminal Court’s arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The recent decision by the International Criminal Court to issue arrest warrants against Israeli leaders, while seemingly a step toward justice, starkly reveals the ICC’s limitations and biases (“Bibi blasts court,” Nov. 23).

This action, while it might appease some international sentiments, fundamentally misunderstands the complexities of modern warfare and the real threats nations face from groups like Hamas.

Israel’s commitment to self-defense, legal accountability and protection of civilians is unparalleled in the region.

The ICC’s approach risks becoming mere political theater, undermining real peace efforts and the rule of law.

Arrest warrants against the prime minister of Israel and the country’s former defense minister issued by the ICC stigmatize the Jewish state for its legal defense against the genocidal maniacs of Hamas.

Israel’s actions do not constitute genocide unless you consider Israelis criminally negligent for defending themselves.

This usurpation of justice is antisemitism writ large. A loud Bronx cheer should be the proper response.

The ICC’s recent decision to issue arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant marks a pivotal moment for justice and accountability.

The Palestinians have endured decades of systematic oppression by Israel. It’s been done with impunity, often bolstered by US support. This decision offers rare hope.

Some 80 years after the Holocaust, anti-Zionism, which is antisemitism, is alive and well all over the world.

That a country protecting and defending its citizens is now considered a crime by the ICC is unbelievable.

Canada and the Netherlands stated that Netanyahu would be arrested if he entered their countries. This sends a powerful message to Jews living there. Get out!

The International Court of Criminals, as it were, perpetually closes its eyes to the murder and mayhem perpetrated by such saintly states as Iran and Russia and their many cronies. After all, Israel is always the villain, despite it being set upon by its many enemies.

The Oct. 7 slaughter merited a simple “ho-hum” response by this illustrious court of criminals, who seek to court favor with those who are committed to the destruction of the Jewish state and its people.

The Issue: Celebrities moving abroad after the election of President-elect Donald Trump.

To Eva Longoria and Ellen DeGeneres, who are leaving the country because of the victory of President-elect Donald Trump, we should just say: Goodbye, farewell, have a nice life (“Ellen and Portia flee across the pond,” Nov. 21).

You can take Whoopi Goldberg with you. You can also take all the money you’ve made off us, the American people, who stand for our flag and love our country.

When Americans wake tomorrow, they should be thankful they live in the greatest country in the world. Smile at a stranger. Hold the door for someone. We make America great.

And while you’re at it, take all the illegal aliens you’re so worried about with you, so you can feed and clothe them and buy them cell phones.

By the way, don’t come back.
