While the lenses and displays aren’t quite as sharp as the Quest 3, the underlying chipset is the same, and this is a much more reasonable price for casual VR gaming and movies. In other words, it’s a big upgrade over the Quest 2. You’ll also get three months of Horizon Plus, which gives you access to a huge library of games.

The Meta Quest 3S is a battery-powered standalone VR headset that has the same chipset as the pricier Quest 3, but with the same lenses and screen resolution as the Quest 2.
