Daisy Toye won’t be sharing her apple with Martha Stewart any time soon.
The “Real Housewives of New York City” newbie exclusively told Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” why she wouldn’t want Stewart, whom she described as her “best friend,” to join the hit Bravo show in a full-time capacity.
“I don’t wanna fight with her,” Toye, 45, told us. “I like her where she is now. I could FaceTime her when I need her. I also do her makeup.”
The lifestyle guru, 85, has made several appearances on “RHONY” Season 16 — and, according to Toye, she’s been getting “a kick” out of watching clips of herself on the show.
Toye was introduced this season along with fellow newcomers Erika Hammond and Hailey Glassman.
The makeup artist has known cast member Sai De Silva since they met as servers at the Upper East Side strip club, Scores, more than two decades ago.
Coming into the show, Toye was also familiar with Hammond through their mutual friend, Stewart.
Though Stewart is not an official cast member of “RHONY,” her name has been brought into some of the drama going on amongst the women.
While chatting with VRT earlier this month, Glassman claimed Stewart “dined and dashed” when she met up with the “RHONY” cast for dinner at the Polo Bar in New York City before filming for Season 16 started.
However, Toye saw nothing wrong with that, noting that Stewart showed up after everyone had already eaten.
“Of course she’s not gonna pay,” Toye told us. “She didn’t come for dinner.”
Toye said Stewart only came for “10 minutes” because she had been invited last-minute to meet the cast.
“She was at a conference and she’s like, ‘I’ll be there around 10 o’clock.’ We were done with dinner,” Toye explained. “She might’ve had a sip of my martini or margarita. Why should she pay?”
“The Real Housewives of New York City” airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo, with new episodes available to stream the next day on Peacock.
