The View host Ana Navarro has slammed 'tacky' Melania Trump in a scathing social media post after the former First Lady promoted a $600 gold vermeil necklace which is available to buy on her personal website.

A description of the piece of jewelry reads: 'Vote Freedom is a limited edition, gold vermeil necklace celebrating Lady Liberty with the option of a digital collectible,' but Ana was quick to mock Donald Trump's wife.

Taking to Instagram, the 52-year-old posted a video promoting the necklace and captioned it: 'Oh My God. Like really. Oh My God. Add a $600 necklace to the $90 Christmas ornaments and the memoir book and the piece-of-s**t NFTs. Oh, and the $250k to speak to gay Republicans.

'Basically, only time Melania shows her face is to extract money from poor suckers. Seriously, how can people supposedly so rich, be so miserly? What's she gonna sell next… nipple-rings?' Ana continued.

'This woman should be First Lady of Home Shopping Network. #tacky. In the mean time, Doug Emhoff is working his little heart out for free because he loves his wife and his country. Imagine that!' she added, referring to Vice President Kamala Harris' husband.

Ana's 797,000 followers were quick to comment on the post as one person said: 'Ana, you never cease to crack me up! Keep on keepin it real!'

Another joked: 'This is her BE BEST, BE TACKY initiative,' while a third Instagram user claimed: 'How cheap is that? Just looking at it, it looks like it came from out of one of those claw machines.'

Someone else commented: 'You've got to be kidding! I'm sad for those who fall for this tackiness,' while a different person added: 'Everything about them is just absurd…'

When Melania promoted the jewelry on her own Instagram page, the damning comments continued as one person wrote: 'Omgggg grifting to cash in before she's no longer relevant to ANYONE. This is ridiculously hilarious.'

Another person accused: 'Melanie is getting in on the grift,' and a third added: 'Dang. You are also just a grifter as well. Now we see the attraction.'

Someone else mocked: 'These things look cheaper by the minute. How hideous,' and another person wrote: 'This is shameful.'

Ana's post comes just days after Melania was brutally mocked for her new business venture, which also sees her flogging Christmas ornaments.

The mother-of-one - who once bashed the festive season while in the White House -unveiled her new ornament collection, 'Merry Christmas, AMERICA!' on social media on Saturday.

In the summer, Ana faced backlash after she mocked Trump's ear bandage following the assassination attempt on July 13

'Each unique piece captures the magic of the holiday season. Let these ornaments inspire cherished memories & bring warmth to your entire family,' her announcement on X, formerly Twitter, read.

The ornaments, which are named 'USA Star,' 'Vote Liberty,' 'Let It Snow,' and 'Love & Freedom,' range from $75 to $90.

One X user wrote: 'We all know what you REALLY think about Christmas,' referring to her leaked comments about Christmas decor in 2018.

'The first family of grifting their own supporters,' said another.

'You are always trying to sell something. Damn girl. Trump has you out here on the track to pay his legal bills,' Nurses for a Better Missouri posted on X.

Of course, Ana is no stranger to criticizing Donald Trump and his family, and a few months ago she faced fierce backlash for making fun of the former President's ear injury following the assassination attempt on July 13.

During an episode of The View, Ana said she wished the bandage that was covering Trump's ear had been placed over his mouth instead.
