Diary of disturbing disinformation and dangerous delusions

This definition

“Socialism . . . means that you will have whatever you need to live a dignified life and that it is the government’s job to deliver on that.” — Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Friday

We say: This is Mamdani’s pitch to let government take charge of everything.

Hmm: Has he ever been to a Motor Vehicles office? Does he think living on the dole is dignified

Government has never delivered “dignity,” which comes from pride in doing, not getting.

This warning

“Let’s be clear: The President is advocating for an attack on 10+ million US residents in two of America’s largest cities.”  — Calif. Gov. Gavin Newsom, Monday

We say: Let’s be clear: President Trump advocated for no such thing.

The left is portraying his remark that higher gas prices are a small price to pay for ending the Iranian nuclear threat as a sign that he’s deranged — by taking his words out of context and then twisting them.

That kind of desperate attack suggests they’re struggling to find any legitimate criticism.

“When you feel powerless, you are powerless. And when you feel powerful, you are powerful. And we are powerful.” — Former Vice President Kamala Harris, Sunday

We say: Kamala thinks wishing hard enough and clicking her heels together will get her to the White House.

Too bad the Power of Positive Feeling doesn’t extend to winning elections. Maybe she should leave politics and become a motivational speaker instead.

“Our laws do not allow for criminals to have sanctuary.” — Gov. Kathy Hochul, Tuesday

We say: New York state law, in fact, provides sanctuary to thousands of illegal alien criminals — including murderers and sexual predators — by releasing them from custody despite federal requests for their removal.

How dumb does Hochul think New Yorkers are?
