After plenty of teases, rumors, and backlash, popular streamer TheBurntPeanut has finally confirmed that he does have a Fortnite collab, and we explain exactly how to find him in-game.
At the end of May, Epic Games was showing off all of the new skins and cosmetics coming in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. Fans immediately noticed an item that looked exactly like a tiny version of TheBurntPeanut.
This led to significant backlash from many players, and the peanut himself insisted that he “knows nothing” about the crossover. However, with the new season now live, he’s finally confirmed that the collab is real.
“We are in Fortnite.. specifically this little guy right here”

“Not one person on the entirety of planet Earth knows what I’m about to say,” he joked on stream, while holding his Sprite from the game. “We are in Fortnite, gentlemen. Specifically, this little guy.”
How to get TheBurntPeanut in Fortnite
TheBurntPeanut isn’t a traditional skin in Fortnite; instead, he’s a Sprite that drops randomly from Chests, can be found walking around the map, or in purple Sprite Chests. He can also be taken by defeating enemies who already have him equipped.
However, he’s one of the rarest in the entire game, with a drop rate of just 1.5%. This is understandable, given that he offers a loot buff, providing more items when you eliminate a player, some of which can be Mythic.
Once you find him, all you have to do is save them using one of the Extraction Sites, which are marked clearly on the in-game map. When you activate one, it will drop an Extraction Crate that all of your Sprites can be placed into and sent to safety.
He can then be brought back into future games and even pilot the mech skin unlocked through the Season 3 Battle Pass, essentially giving you a Peanut skin as well.
TheBurntPeanut has now joined the countless other figures and characters that have appeared in Fortnite, so check out every crossover in the game’s history.
