Popular streamer TheBurntPeanut has responded to questions from fans about his rumored upcoming Fortnite crossover.
On May 31, Epic Games shared the first image of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 and some of the skins and items included. Players immediately spotted a small peanut-shaped Sidekick that bore a resemblance to streamer TheBurntPeanut.
This sparked plenty of backlash among fans, as they shared clips of him allegedly using a homophobic slur while playing Escape from Tarkov. As a result, many players have called for Epic Games to remove the collab altogether.
TheBurntPeanut says he “knows nothing” about Fornite collab
Following the announcement, TheBurntPeanut was asked about it while on stream, but he refused to confirm whether or not he was appearing in the game.
“I know nothing about Fortnite, stop asking me. I know nothing,” he repeated while his chat continued to mention it. It’s also worth noting that his avatar was wearing the same hat during this stream as the Sidekick shown in the Chapter 7 Season 3 promo.
“Boys, I’m always working on cool sh*t behind the scenes for you guys. I’ve got like 100 things going at once behind the scenes,” he continued. “The bungulator takes care of you boys, I’ve got stuff cooked up all the time.”

Although the streamer himself refused to comment on whether or not he was appearing in Fortnite, the game’s Senior Director, “EpicTofu Chris,” did confirm that it was TheBurntPeanut in the teaser image. So, all signs are pointing towards him appearing in the new season.
