President Donald Trump sounded off with a vengeance on NBC News’s Kristen Welker during a contentious interview with her regarding the ongoing election woes in California, where Spencer Pratt initially appeared to have done well enough in the jungle primary to make it ot the runoff, until a flood of what conservatives allege were suspicious mail-in ballots kept pouring in and making it look like a Democrat will edge him out.
In fact, his argument with Welker over the “rigged” election in California infuriated him so much that he stormed out of the interview, even crushing the microphone he had been using under his heel as he got up and stormed out in the midst of an interview with the far-left show host, who he called dishonest and corrupt.
Commenting on the California election situation, where voted have continued dribbling in for days to the disadvantage of LA Mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt and gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton, President Trump sounded off on the fact that it had been four days since the election and still California wasn’t “even close” to getting a final count.
Continuing, he snapped that the reason that it is taking so long is that California is cheating. “Do you know why they’re doing that? Because they’re cheating on the election,” the president said. Welker then demanded he share what evidence he has of such goings on, and Trump responded, “All I have to do is look.”
That infuriated her, and a short while later, the president asked the anchor if she supports the sort of stunt that the state of California is seemingly trying to pull. He asked, “Do you think it’s appropriate that they have an election and five days later, they’re nowhere close to picking a winner?”
Things really got juicy then, with the president snapping that both Welker and the cotierie of California officials behind this scheme are “crooked”. He said, “They’re crooked, just like you’re crooked, your press is crooked. And ‘Meet the Press’ is crooked.” Welker snapped back, “To be fair. I’m not crooked.”
Trump wasn’t having it. Responding to her by noting that she is crooked if she won’t call out what looks like obvious fraud, the president said, “You’re either crooked or you’re stupid. You play right into their hands with this crap. You know that these elections are rigged. Your network knows that they’re rigged.”

Continuing to sound off as Welker tried to argue with him, he then again hammered both her and “Meet the Press”, saying, “Your elections are crooked, and you’re crooked, and ‘Meet the Press’ is crooked.” He added, “And so is ABC and CBS and CNN.” Further, he blasted NBC News as a “one-sided crooked network.”
Concluding, he tossed the microphone to the ground and ground it under his heel while standing up and leaving, saying, “Sorry. Let’s call it quits because I’ve had enough. Thank you, darling. Have a good time.” Welker whined that she had travelled for the interview, but he didn’t care, and just left.
