U.S. Virgin Islands Delegate Stacey Plaskett protested the nonvoting status of the Virgin Islands and other U.S. territories Friday— sparking mixed reactions after she accused the U.S. in House floor remarks of having a "colonies problem."

Combined, she noted that the delegates excluded represent some four million Americans and what she said was "the largest per capita of veterans in this country."

I love it. Shootin' off her mouth over 4 million non-voters 80% of which are in Puerto Rico where the military is a way out. Virgin Islands-they got money. They don't need the vote. DC statehood is unconstitutional.

On the other hand she’s got a point. Its like taxation without representation, a legitimate bitch that will stick around. The only way to make this go away for good is PR independence and allowing DC residents to vote in Maryland. The Northern Marianas don’t give a $hit about representation.

It’s blacks. USS would disagree.
