This gaming mouse has a built in fan to keep your hands cool

Gamers can now keep their hands cool with a gaming mouse that has a built-in cooling fan, offering a new way to combat sweaty palms during intense sessions.

Gaming peripheral manufacturer Pulsar has teamed up with PC cooling brand Noctua, a company best known for its premium CPU coolers and case fans.

However, instead of putting a fan inside a PC, the collaboration has built one into a gaming mouse called the Feinmann F01 Noctua Edition.

It’s just as bizarre as it sounds, but it could be a game changer for those who want to make sweaty plays in CoD or Fortnite without getting clammy palms.

So, how does this super cooling mouse work? Well, the F01 uses a 40mm Noctua NF-A4x10 5V PWM fan, which draws air through the mouse’s lightweight shell and away from your palm.

Players can also switch the fan on or off without leaving their game, either through the included receiver or using controls on the mouse itself. Additionally, if things get a little too chilly or you’re still feeling the heat, you can also adjust the speed of the fan.

Despite having a fan inside, the mouse is made from a carbon composite material and has a perforated design to keep it light. In fact, it weighs only 73g, which makes it lighter than the Logitech G502 X (89g).

Pulsar

The Feinmann F01 Noctua Edition is also equipped with Pulsar’s flagship XS-2 sensor, offering up to 42,000 DPI and tracking speeds designed for responsive competitive play.

Pulsar also claims the optical switches are rated for 100 million clicks (that’s a lot of clicks), so even the most trigger-happy player should get a lot of use out of it.
