After decades of playing in the NFL and taking punishing hits from defenders rushing at him, Tom Brady's body has shown plenty of scars for his 23 years of competition.

In a recent video posted to his YouTube channel, Brady engaged in a cooking competition with social media chef Nick DiGiovanni.

While making waffles with the culinary connoisseur, Brady was seen picking up waffles with his bare hands from a hot iron.

DiGiovanni commented that Brady had 'chef hands' - meaning that he had the ability to touch hot objects without flinching.

When asked by his camera man if there was any kind of 'football hands' Brady may have picked up over the years, the former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, indicated that he took plenty of punishment on his throwing hand.

'These fingers got pretty beat up over a long period of time,' Brady said.

Tom Brady opened up about the myriad of hand injuries he sustained in his NFL career

Particularly, Brady's right middle finger isn't able to fully flex out due to a torn ligament

'See that finger?,' Brady added - while holding up his right middle finger. 'Can't even bend that finger anymore. Torn ligament.'

As seen in pictures above, Brady appears to struggle with fully flexing out that finger on his right throwing hand.

Among the injuries Brady sustained on that hand includes a cut he sustained during a practice after smacking the helmet buckle of teammate Rex Burkhead before the AFC Championship game in the 2016 season.

Brady was able to play through the injury in that game and in Super Bowl LI - but it was a factor.

It wasn't a factor enough to prevent the Patriots from pulling off the greatest comeback in NFL history as they rebounded from a 25 point third-quarter deficit to beat the Atlanta Falcons.

Brady would go on to win two more titles after that one - Super Bowl LIII with New England and Super Bowl LV with Tampa Bay.
