Tom Cruise was spotted hanging with close pals David Beckham and wife Victoria while attending the World Cup game in Los Angeles on Friday.

The 63-year-old actor, who recently had a reunion with former co-stars Colin Farrell and Dakota Fanning, snagged a seat in a VIP section with the Beckhams at SoFi Stadium.

Just hours earlier, the Top Gun actor introduced the former professional soccer player as he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The trio were spotted mingling during the lighthearted festivities and watched United States take on Paraguay during the match.

Cruise and Beckham offered a rare glimpse at their nearly 20-year friendship which began in 2007.

At one point, the pair were seen holding a conversation and were also greeted by cheering fans directly below them.

The fashion designer was chic wearing a dark gray vest as well as a pair of matching trousers.

Victoria's long locks were parted in the middle and effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders in light waves.

Cruise stated that Beckham has 'inspired generations around the world to watch and play the game.'

He also recalled the star's iconic shot from the halfway line during a match back in 1996.

'The ball was in the air for just three and a half seconds. But that moment has now lived for three decades in the minds of everyone who saw it and in the history of sport.'

Cruise continued, 'And if you didn't know who he was then, you certainly did a few months later.'

A source close to the Beckhams told the Daily Mail, 'It's a full circle moment for David.

'Never back then did he think he and Tom would become friends, but they have, and there was only one person who could have done the induction speech for David.'

The insider added, 'The date night to watch Jerry Maguire is something both David and Victoria look back on so fondly.'

Cruise and Beckham struck up a longtime friendship when the soccer player signed with LA Galaxy back in 2007.
