Hollywood titan Brad Pitt has shocked people with his new and incredibly youthful appearance that seems to have turned back his biological clock.
Appearing on the red carpet to promote his new film Wolfs alongside George Clooney, Pitt faced claims from fans he was a real life Benjamin Button with the 60-year-old looking several years younger than he did just two years ago.
Now top cosmetic doctor Dr Jonny Betteridge has highlighted the series of procedures he believes may explain Pitt's radical de-ageing transformation.
One of the key procedures Dr Betteridge highlighted in a clip which has been viewed over 20,000 times on TikTok was a blepharoplasty, also known as an eyelid lift.
This procedure, which costs up to £6,000 in the UK, removes excess skin from the eyelids to reduce signs of aging.
Specifically, Dr Betteridge suspects Pitt has opted for a more subtle lower blepharoplasty, which explains the natural look.
While a full blepharoplasty alters both the upper and lower eyelids Dr Betteridge said men needed to be careful about altering the upper eyelid as it can have unintended results.
'In male patients it can feminise their face and be a giveaway they've had work done,' he said.
Aged 60, Brad Pitt has been hailed the real-life Benjamin Button, appearing to age in reverse, though a British cosmetic surgeon suspects a series of procedures are behind the 'impressive' transformation. Pitt is pictured here in December 2022 (left) versus September 2024 (right)
Comparing photos of Pitt from before July 2023, when rumours first circulated he had undergone plastic surgery, to after, Dr Betteridge theorised the star had a host of procedures that had resulted in a 'significant improvement in his appearance'.
These included fat grafting on the face, where fat taken from other areas of the body is injected into the face to add volume, combined with face and neck lift.
Dr Betteridge also suggested Pitt had veneers fitted — custom-made porcelain shells that are bonded to the front of teeth to enhance their look.
Overall, he gave a glowing review on the transformation.
'The changes to the jaw and neck area are really impressive and it creates a more defined and structured look,' he said.
He added that Pitt was a 'great example of a male who's undergone plastic surgery because he still retains his facial characteristics but just looks more refreshed.'
This isn't the first time Pitt, who famously played a man who ages in reverse in 2008's The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, has been suspected of going under the knife to enhance his looks.
Dr Betteridge previously suggested Pitt had undergone a £100,000 face lift.

Sources close to the star have dismissed theories he had a face lift.
Pitt has previously spoken about his relaxed stance on getting older.
In a 2019 interview with Esquire magazine he said: 'You get older, you get crankier, and comfort becomes more important. I think it’s as simple as that.'
When asked about his beauty regimen, he hilariously said: 'I grew up with a country mentality, kind of you know, Dial soap once a day and then move on...
'And I think that we’re learning that if we love ourselves, if we treat ourselves a little better, then there are long-lasting benefits to that. So just age healthy, age in a healthy manner.'
