Travis Kelce is in the building as the Kansas City Chiefs bid to return to winning ways on Sunday against Carolina Panthers.

Kelce rolled into the Bank of America Stadium in one of his more eccentric outfits of the season - sporting a bucket hat, sunglasses, beige pants and checkered overshirt in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Unsurprisingly though, the Chiefs themselves praised Kelce's appearance as they shared a picture of his arrival writing in the caption: 'Always a trendsetter, @tkelce.'

The Chiefs lost for the first time last week against the Buffalo Bills, with Josh Allen leading his team to a 30-21 victory against the Super Bowl champions.

It is unclear if Kelce's girlfriend Taylor Swift will be at the game. She was performing last night in Canada and has tended to stay away from Chiefs road games. Kelce's father, Ed, was at the show on Saturday night.

Speaking on New Heights after the Bills loss, Kelce said his teammates have to step up and get back to winning ways immediately.

Kelce sent an angry message to his Chiefs team after last Sunday's loss to Buffalo Bills

Kelce was quickly out on the field to warm up alongside Patrick Mahomes for the game

'I don't give a f** how your body is feeling, I don't give a f*** where your mentality is off the field,' he said.

'When you step into that building, we are here to figure s*** out. We are here to get better as football players for the football team.

'That is a mentality going forward that everybody has to be a part of - top down, myself included.

'I have to be the leader I've been in the past and hold myself accountable so everybody sees how it's done.'

Kelce struggled against the Bills, taking two receptions for just eight yards.

But the Chiefs are heavy favorites to beat the Panthers, who are 3-8 in what has been another difficult season.

Andy Reid's team are 9-1 and victory on the road today would make them the first team to 10 wins.

And it's a shorter turnaround for Kelce and his team after Sunday's game.

They are next in action on Friday against divisional rivals Las Vegas Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

Off the football field, it has also been a big week for the Kelce family with it being announced that Travis is soon to become an uncle for the fourth time.

His older brother Jason and his wife Kylie revealed this week that they are getting ready to welcome a fourth girl to their family.
