Prayers go out to Trevor Lawrence.

The Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback needs to have surgery to fix up an AC joint injury that he has in his left shoulder, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. (RELATED: ‘I’ll Be Your Villain’: Dirty-Hitting, Palestinian-Loving Azeez Al-Shaair Continues To Dig His Hole Deeper And Deeper)

Lawrence originally suffered the shoulder injury in a Week 9 contest taking on the Philadelphia Eagles. He missed two games prior to coming back for the Houston Texans square-off Sunday. During the game, he was blasted with an illegal hit from Houston linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair, causing him to be placed on injured reserve and ultimately ending his season.

Al-Shaair was suspended three games without pay for the vicious knock.

This is the second consecutive year that Lawrence has dealt with a shoulder injury. In the 2023 campaign, he suffered one during a 30-12 defeat against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a Week 16 contest. He ended up missing the next game, which was the first ever in his career that he missed because of injury.
