Trump Announces Huge Illegal Immigration Victory after Just One Month

In a huge announcement on Truth Social, his private social media platform, President Donald Trump announced that his administration had taken large steps and had major success in protecting America from the illegal immigration invasion plaguing it. That big announcement came on Saturday, March 1.

In the post, President Trump noted that in just one month alone, the United States Customs and Border Patrol had seen a precipitous fall in illegal immigrant crossings. Whereas they had previously seen hundreds of thousands of crossings a month, his first full month in office, February, saw well under 10,000 crossings.

Further, the president noted that, much unlike the illegal immigrants who, under the Biden Administration, were caught by Border Patrol but then released into the nation for court dates years in the future, those caught during the past month were immediately deported.

The massive decline seen by the Trump Administration in just a month represents a huge, 96% decline from the numbers seen during the Biden Administration at its worst. The high came in December of 2023, when Border Patrol reported a massive 301,981 encounters at the United States-Mexico border.

In his post on Truth Social, President Trump began by saying that this precipitous decline meant February was the lowest number of crossings ever recorded. She said, “The month of February, my first full month in Office, had the LOWEST number of Illegal Immigrants trying to enter our Country in History – BY FAR!”

Continuing, the president noted how few encounters there were, and how those caught at the border were either deported or, if necessary, prosecuted. He said, “There were only 8,326 apprehensions of Illegals by Border Patrol at the U.S. – Mexico Border, all of whom were quickly ejected from our Nation or, when necessary, prosecuted for crimes against the United States of America.”

Declaring victory in respect to that aspect of the illegal immigration crisis, Trump said that the invasion is over. He wrote, “This means that very few people came – The Invasion of our Country is OVER. In comparison, under Joe Biden, there were 300,000 Illegals crossing in one month, and virtually ALL of them were released into our Country.”

Concluding, the president noted that the message has now been clearly sent that the US-Mexico border is closed. He wrote, “Thanks to the Trump Administration Policies, the Border is CLOSED to all Illegal Immigrants. Anyone who tries to illegally enter the U.S.A. will face significant criminal penalties and immediate deportation.” Watch Sen. In another post on the platform, one that came on Thursday, February 27, President Trump commented on the still problematic drug cartel and fentanyl situation. He said, “Drugs are still pouring into our Country from Mexico and Canada at very high and unacceptable levels. A large percentage of these Drugs, much of them in the form of Fentanyl, are made in, and supplied by, China.”

Continuing, he noted the massive scale of the fentanyl crisis, saying, “More than 100,000 people died last year due to the distribution of these dangerous and highly addictive POISONS. Millions of people have died over the last two decades. The families of the victims are devastated and, in many instances, virtually destroyed.”

Standing firm, he declared that this crisis will no longer be tolerated and that the Canadians and Mexicans, who are allowing the crisis, will be punished for that via tariffs. He said, “We cannot allow this scourge to continue to harm the USA, and therefore, until it stops, or is seriously limited, the proposed TARIFFS scheduled to go into effect on MARCH FOURTH will, indeed, go into effect, as scheduled. China will likewise be charged an additional 10% Tariff on that date. The April Second Reciprocal Tariff date will remain in full force and effect. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
