JUST IN: Trump announces RFK Jr. will investigate the link between vaccines and autism as the head of the HHS.
NBC's Kristen Welker asks if Trump wants childhood vaccines to be eliminated.
TRUMP: "If they're dangerous for the children."
"If you take a look at autism, you go back 25 years. Autism was almost nonexistent. It was, you know, one out of 100,000 and now it's close to one out of 100."
"Something is going on. I don't know if it's vaccines. Maybe it's maybe it's chlorine in the water, right? People are looking at a lot of different things. I want them to look at everything."
Trump issued a nuanced take - saying some vaccines are great, but he still wants them looked into.
"Maybe some aren't. If they aren't, we have to find out."
Trump added that at Mar-a-Lago, he called up the top pharma companies and said he's going to devise solutions to our health and drug issues.

The Amish don't do vaccines and have an extremely low autism rate. Just FYI...

This will be very interesting to watch, I used to think the idea that vaccines could be causing autism was a conspiracy theory, the more you look into the issue, the more there absolutely could be a link between the two.

Cue the “Trump shouldn’t be using the government to help people - only corporations should be able to decide what happens and if you don’t like what they do then start your own corporation” “conservatives”....

Well that’s crazy. The powers that be (money makers) already said there is no connection.

microplastics and pharmaceuticals also should be investigated along with the poisons in the food supply. And seed oils / HFCS.

The Amish don’t get monitored for things like this, either.
Part of the “problem” is the excitement to give everyone an excuse for their lives, and get money for their special education. Not so much “evil vaccines”.
(Mother, master’s in education and head of special education -emotionally disturbed teens - in a mental health facility.)
I believe some 10 years ago we said people like this were bonkers.
Can we please be consistent? Where is the conservatism here?

---- "Trump announces RFK Jr. will investigate the link between vaccines and autism as the head of the HHS."
My bride and I are VERY enthused by this. A history of the "vaccine schedule" is most interesting, as the list gets longer and longer, as well as younger and younger.

I agree, that is a definitive starting point for the research. Have known quite a few Amish in my time and RARELY ever remember them being ill.

Agreed, vaccines could be an issue, but other issues as well, microplastics and pharmaceutical are two prime examples.
I also think the highly processed foods could be prime contender.

Trump: “We need solid scientific research.”
Media: “Science denier!!!!!!”

They don’t have phones or electrical stuff stuck to their skulls. They don’t live under power lines. They don’t eat Fruit Loops. Their kids don’t hide out in their rooms but are outside in the fresh air and sunshine.

Glad you asked. “We can’t find an autistic kid who was unvaccinated...”

Need to make these reports PUBLIC as soon as Trump is in power.

When my kids were young, my wife and I insisted that they only be given separate MM&R shots.. we were scared off the combined shots because two of our acquaintances had children with severe autism that developed soon after.
I don’t think you can even get separate measles or mumps or rubella shots anymore....

I wonder what the Amish cancer rate, diabetes rate, Parkinson rate and Alzheimer and dementia rates are as well. Doubt big pharma or pharma funded medical universities want to study this.

Ditto and the physician cooperated - after my insisting.
One of my daughters had an allergic reaction to one of the shots, which was resolved. Had we overloaded all of the shots in one visit...? Not sure but glad we didn’t.
I know a guy who was loaded up with shots prior to Gulf War 1 and rendered disabled for life. Blew out his immune system. He was a Navy SEAL - so, yes, superior health prior to the ‘vaccines.’

RFK Jr was right about the covid vaccine in a stopped clock twice a day way. Vaccines are why there is no more smallpox, and almost no polio.
He will be terrible as head of HHS. And he is still a socialist, even if the Dems don't like him.

Your point?
How come the PTB came up with an “autism spectrum”? Everyone is autistic! I’m serious, if you look into everyone and their mental status, everyone has traits that could be This or That.
Everyone happily looks for excuses for their kid’s behavior and failure in school. Not only was my mom a teacher in special Ed but our family went through this. I was thought to be “special” for certain silly, neurotic things I did in childhood, by teachers, but my parents FOUGHT the labeling. Partly since mom knew all this stuff.
Then my sister let her kids be labeled since they didn’t know how to handle my nephew being disinterested and lazy In school, and my niece got a similar diagnosis later. All so they can have “accommodations (also endless and expensive now, as I experienced tutoring in college), and some get pills. It’s all bull. They’re normal people with a few issues that ANYONE will experience with their own family.
You lash out about vaccines but also belly-ache about ADD and pills. And should also about spending money to help these poor, poor children. Which is it? All of it is tied into money for “education”.
I do not want more of this nonsense continuing because now we’ve fallen for some conspiracy because, Trump said so.

“conspiracy theory”
Conditioned response.
I always appreciated the Gov or industry throwing that label onto an idea, gave me a pretty good idea of what to look really hard at.
