Trump goes nuclear on 'conflicted' judge blocking deportations to El Salvador

Donald Trump wants the judge who attempted to block his deportation flights of illegal immigrant gang members to lose his license and be prohibited from practicing law.

The president now accuses District Court Judge James Boasberg of taking politically motivated actions against him from the bench.

His Monday morning Truth Social post included an article link revealing Boasberg attended a legal conference featuring sponsors and speakers with clearly expressed anti-Trump perspectives that particularly are out-of-alignment with the president's immigration policies.

'He should be disbarred!' Trump demanded, claiming the judge was almost as bad as the one who presided over another 'fake case against me.'

Trump called the latest incident a 'miscarriage of justice.'

The federal judge tried to block at the last minute two planes from taking off from the U.S. with undocumented gang members en route for El Salvador to be imprisoned there.

But the planes were already in the air when Judge Boasberg's order was transmitted and White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt says he had no jurisdiction over international waters to make them turn around.

Trump invoked the Alien Enemies Act to make the deportation flights.

He defended the operation to deport the 200 'monsters' linked to gangs responsible for kidnapping, extortion and contract killings.

'These were bad people. That was a bad group of, as I say, hombres,' he told reporters earlier this month.

Asked about using the controversial Alien Enemies Act outside of wartime, Trump insisted: 'This is a time of war because Biden allowed millions of people – many of them criminals, many of them at the highest level.'

'They emptied jails out – other nations. It's an invasion and these are criminals.'
