Donald Trump's approval rating has soared to new heights while a separate poll shows Democrats have hit an all time low.
Polling conducted for CNN and NBC has laid bare the deep divides within America as Democrats lick their wounds 'in the wilderness' in the wake of the 2024 election.
'While this survey shows a mixed result for Donald Trump, Democrats are the ones in the wilderness right now,' pollster Jeff Horwitt, of Hart Research Associates, told NBC.
But 44 percent of Americans came together to agree that America is 'on the right track' under Trump's leadership.
This is the highest satisfaction rating in this category of registered voters since early 2004.
Trump's overall approval rating, according to the NBC poll, is 47 percent, which is the highest he's ever polled during his political career. Similarly, his personal favorable rating is 46 percent.
The Democrats, meanwhile, are struggling across the political sphere.
In both the NBC poll and the CNN poll, the capitulation of the left-leaning party was undeniable.

According to the CNN polling, the Democratic Party's favorability rating among Americans is at record low.
The survey, conducted between March 6 to 9, found that favorability for the party is at a shocking 29 percent.
This is the lowest it has been since CNN began taking polls back in 1992. It has also plummeted 20 points since January 2021.
The poll found that 57 percent of respondents would prefer the Democrats dedicate their time and resources to stopping the Republican agenda, rather than work collaboratively in an effort to pass some Democrat legislation.
And 52 percent of Democrat respondents said party leadership is taking party in the wrong direction.
Beyond that, respondents said there is no clear hierarchy or leader to rally behind and be inspired by.
When asked to name the Democrat they feel 'best reflects to the core values' of the party, the name with the highest amount of support was controversial New York Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Even still, she was only named by 10 percent of respondents.

Trump is enjoying soaring popularity, while the Democratic Party suffers
Former Vice President Kamala Harris came in second with nine percent, and Bernie Sanders ranked third with eight percent.
More than 30 percent of participants in the survey did not name anybody. 'No one,' one answered. 'That's the problem.'
The Republican Party's favorability is at 36 percent - significantly higher than the Democrats.
But Trump continues to draw distinctions from his party across the political spectrum. The CNN data revealed that Americans are nine points more likely to describe the president individually as extreme than to use the same term to describe the Republican party.
While the majority of voters who participated in the NBC poll disapprove of Trump's initial handling of the economy, inflation and the cost of living, his approval ratings remain between 42 and 44 percent for each marker.
And Trump has garnered support for his Department of Government Efficiency, helmed by the world's richest man Elon Musk.
Voters like the concept of slashing spending and cuts to federal departments, but they expressed some reservations about how rapid-fire it has been rolled out so far, as well as about Musk himself.
The NBC poll was conducted between March 7 and 11, with 1,000 registered voters.
