President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming “border czar” declared the Biden administration “has blood on their hands” for the murder of Georgia college student Laken Riley who was allegedly killed by an illegal migrant earlier this year.

Former acting immigration and customs enforcement director Tom Homan slammed the outgoing Democratic president as the trial of Riley’s murder suspect Jose Ibarra resumes in the city of Athens on Monday.

Ibarra is accused of beating the 22-year-old nursing student to death as she fought for her life.

“Look if President Trump was president he would be in Mexico in the “Remain in Mexico” program,” Homan said on Fox News Saturday in reference to a policy that required migrants to wait for a court hearing south of the border rather than in the US.

“He would’ve never been released in the United States. If President Trump was president and he did get into the United States and he got arrested in New York for a crime before he committed this murder — he would have never been released on the street, he would have been turned over to us.

“So this administration has blood on their hands.”

Riley’s murder led to outrage after it was revealed her alleged killer was released by immigration authorities after illegally entering the US through Texas because of lack of detention space.

He was then arrested in the Big Apple in August 2023 for illegally riding a gas-powered moped with a 5-year-old on the back with no helmet, but was again cut free. From there, he fled to Georgia.

Homan said leaders who support sanctuary city status that results in local officials not cooperating with ICE agents should listen to the 911 recording that captured the final moments of Riley’s life after the emergency function on her cell phone was triggered and called for help.

“Listen to that tape, listen to the way that young lady died,” he said.

Homan said the feds under Trump would attempt to pull funds from major cities that have sanctuary status – similar to a move he tried in his first term in office — one that was subject to a legal battle.

“Look, if they’re not going to help us then we’ll just double the manpower in those cities,” Homan said. “They don’t want ICE agents in their neighborhoods but they don’t let ICE agents in the jail. They don’t understand if you let us in the jail, that’ll be less agents in your neighborhood.”

The longtime federal law enforcement official also vowed to weed out the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.

“Tren de Aragua, they’re on notice,” he said. “Their days of violence and bloodshed in this country are coming to an end very fast. My message to Tren de Aragua: my gang is bigger than your gang and we’re gonna take you out.”
