In the middle of a furious rant delivered on Truth Social in the evening on Wednesday, January 15, President-elect Donald Trump snuck in a slam of former Vice President Mike Pence. The rebuke of his former VP came after Pence’s wife disgracefully snubbing Melania at Jimmy Carter’s funeral and alongside news that Pence’s non-profit is advocating against Trump HHS pick RFK Jr.
In the post, the president-elect commented on his refusal to hire people who hate him and his movement, and instead said that he is hiring those who have done a good job and will be wonderful in their new positions. He said, “As of today, the incoming Trump Administration has hired over 1,000 people for The United States Government.”
Commenting on the quality of those news employees being brought in by the incoming Trump Administration and what the plan for them is, he said, “They are outstanding in every way, and you will see the fruits of their labor over the coming years.” He added, “We will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and it will happen very quickly!”
Continuing, he noted that it would be nice if no recommendations were sent in for people affiliated with a RINO organization called “Americans for Prosperity.” He said, joking about the neo-con organization’s name, “In order to save time, money, and effort, it would be helpful if you would not send, or recommend to us, people who worked with, or are endorsed by, Americans for No Prosperity (headed by Charles Koch).”
Then, slamming Pence and some of the others involved with the RINO organization, the president-elect said that the other people he doesn’t want to be associated with are those affiliated with or endorsed by: ‘“Dumb as a Rock” John Bolton, “Birdbrain” Nikki Haley, Mike Pence, disloyal Warmongers Dick Cheney, and his Psycho daughter, Liz, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, General(?) Mark Milley, James Mattis, Mark Yesper, or any of the other people suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome, more commonly known as TDS. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
The snub of Melania moment occurred during the funeral of former President Jimmy Carter on Thursday, January 9, Karen Pence, wife of former Vice President Mike Pence, refused to stand up and greet or shake the hand of incoming First Lady Melania Trump, instead turning away from her and staying seated. Her husband, meanwhile, stood up and greeted both Donald and Melania Trump. Watch it here:
Trump has made other big announcements about his incoming administration on Truth Social recently as well. For example, in one post, he announced an attempt to move toward garnering revenue from tariffs and other indirect taxes. He said, “For far too long, we have relied on taxing our Great People using the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Through soft and pathetically weak Trade agreements, the American Economy has delivered growth and prosperity to the World, while taxing ourselves. It is time for that to change.”
He added, “I am today announcing that I will create the EXTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE to collect our Tariffs, Duties, and all Revenue that come from Foreign sources. We will begin charging those that make money off of us with Trade, and they will start paying, FINALLY, their fair share. January 20, 2025, will be the birth date of the External Revenue Service. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
