Donald Trump has won the state of Nevada, putting him on course for a clean sweep of the swing states with just Arizona left to be called.
The president-elect took the western state with 50.8 per cent of the vote, according to projections by both NBC and CNN.
His rival, Kamala Harris, conceded the race on in a telephone call to Mr Trump on Wednesday.
Nevada has six electoral votes, putting Trump up to 301 electoral votes, 31 more than he needed to win the election.
In his first two election runs Trump has never won Nevada, with Hilary Clinton in 2016 and Joe Biden in 2020 both securing the state for the Democrats.
Six of the seven ‘battleground’ states have now been called in Trump’s favour.
The vote is still being counted in Arizona. With some three quarters of the ballots counted, the race is reportedly too close to call.
