UK consumers are being alerted to two separate food recalls affecting products sold in stores in the country.

Hogan's Farm Turkey Burgers, available exclusively in Dunnes stores in Northern Ireland, are being recalled due to undeclared sulphur dioxide. This follows an ongoing recall for cereal across the UK.

The company is recalling its Farm Turkey Burgers with use-by dates of 25, 26 and 28 March 2025. The 400g packs contain sulphur dioxide which is not declared on the label.

"The product contains undeclared sulphur dioxide making it a possible health risk for anyone with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide or sulphites," the Food Standards Agency (FSA) cautioned.

This poses a potential health risk for anyone with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide or sulphites.

Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores selling the product.

Customers who have purchased the affected burgers are advised not to eat them if they have a sulphur dioxide sensitivity. Instead, they should return the product to the store for a full refund.

Meanwhile, Rude Health has issued a recall for its Chocolate Crunch Granola because of a possible insect infestation.

Both companies have provided specific batch information and instructions for customers who may have purchased the affected items.

The Rude Health Chocolate Crunch Granola recall affects 400g packs with batch code PD24102024 and a best before date of October 24, 2025.

The FSA warned the product "might contain insects". Rude Health products are sold at multiple retailers including Amazon, Ocado, Holland & Barrett, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Waitrose, Tesco and Abel & Cole.

Amazon, Tesco and Ocado currently stock the Chocolate Crunch Granola, though none have confirmed stocking the specific recalled batch.

The company has clarified that no other batches or Rude Health products are affected.
