The situation in Russia’s Kursk region, where North Korean troops have been deployed, is rapidly deteriorating for Ukraine. While Ukraine claims significant North Korean casualties, reports suggest heavy losses among Ukrainian forces as well. Russian troops are mounting an all-out offensive to reclaim the area.

The Ukrainians attempted to invaded Russia through Kursk in Operation Barbarossa II just like the Nazis did 82 years ago and now they are dying in frozen potato fields.

Any thoughts on the stupidity of invading Russia? You would think the Ukrainians knew the history of that foolishness.

The Germans of WWII had sufficient men and war materials to push deep into Russia. If they weren’t fighting a two front war they could have pulled it off, provided Hitler let his generals make all the decisions.
In contrast Ukraine never had the men or material to do anything other than be a pain in Russia’s rear end for a few months. Those resources could have been better used to push the Russians out of their own territory.
It was a totally stupid move that could only have had a bad ending. Fortunately their PIV (pervert in charge) will likely want a peace settlement once Trump is sworn in.

Well it didn’t help for the drug-addled retard Adolf to needlessly declare war on the United States on 11 Dec 1941. As if the Japs could have helped him in Europe. Imbecile.

I suspect it is somewhat driven by Ukrainian desperation, in the same way the Nazis decided to launch an offensive into the Ardennes in December 1944.
It is always sketchy to launch a counteroffensive when undermanned and underequipped, but desperation does drive an army to do that.
But when it bogs down and ultimately fails (as the invasion into Russia did) you are worse off than before since you have depleted your other forces.
That’s the way I see it. Ukraine may have seen no choice and decided it was a risk they had to take, but...as people say, if you shoot at the King, you better not miss.

I agree, one on one Germany would’ve taken Moscow I don’t think they ever would’ve been able to take the whole country it probably would’ve ended up split somehow. Perhaps China would’ve taken Siberia.

I keep hearing of Ukraine’s devastating losses.
I am going to go with the Russian bots here and believe it. I just have a few questions:
1. Why are the Russian losses reported up to 12x more than Ukraine’s not ‘devastating’. Per Capita, it’s a bigger loss for Russia?
2. How are the Russians situated for APC’s and Tanks for now, and in 6 months?
3. Why do the Russians allow Foreign fighters and 10k of North Koreans to fight in their war if they got it themselves?
4. Why spend resources having Russian Bots post on FR, when you got the war in the bag in 2 weeks? or is that like 3 years or so now?

Yeah, it’s the type of stupid, stupid decision you make when you are all jacked up on amphetamines or cocaine.
