Umamusume is getting its first-ever international concert tour, with performances planned across the U.S., Europe, and South Korea.
On June 21, Cygames revealed that the international leg of the 7th Event World Tour “The Stage” will kick off at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, before heading to London, Seoul, and Yokohama, Japan.
This is huge news for Uma fans, as this will be the first time an official Umamusume live tour has brought performances directly to overseas audiences.
Umamusume gets first-ever international event
While the devs have yet to announce what we can expect to see at the 7th Event World Tour, we do know that past events typically feature musical performances from the game’s voice actors, choreographed dances, horse girl cosplays, interview segments, and exciting announcements.
Various Umamusume merch has also famously been sold during these concerts, so it will be an event fans won’t want to miss. As you can imagine, the reception has been met with a lot of excitement from overseas fans.
“A chance to catch Umamusume here in the US!? Definitely time to start saving for the flight across the country,” wrote one fan.
“Doing my very very hardest to curb every urge not to immediately make plans to either try for LA or London’s shows, but the struggle is real, cause it would be SOOOOO COOOOOOLLLLLLL,” added another.
At the time of writing, Cygames has not announced dates, ticketing details, or venue information for the London, Seoul, Yokohama, or Los Angeles stops beyond confirming that the Los Angeles performance will be held at Peacock Theater.
The announcement comes after Umamusume continues to enjoy huge overseas success, with the game famously creating horse girl cosplay races, sponsoring a major U.S. Grade 1 horse race, and even starting a movement where fans help the IRL horses that inspired the series.
