This is the terrifying moment a United Airlines' flier made a shock discovery under her seat during a flight.

The passenger spotted a hole under her chair during the trip after a draft kept blowing over her feet.

She shared the shocking footage on social media before complaining to the company about the serious safety hazard.

She later claimed that United Airlines offered her a pathetic $50 apology without further explanation.

The video was shared online by the Instagram page Cockpit King with the caption: 'You feel cold breeze by your feet on a United Airlines flight! Then found a hole on the plane.'

The flier claimed their feet were freezing for two hours, and it looked like the hole was 'covered up with silicone.'

The frightened flier revealed they spoke to a United Airlines supervisor after the aircraft landed, but all she did was offer a $50 flight voucher.

She also claimed the airline was 'compromising the safety of their passengers' before stopping the September 19 video.

'Is this the new economy-class sunroof option, or do we have a real safety concern on our hands?,' the video posted wrote on TikTok and Facebook.

This issue is one of multiple aircraft problems United Airlines has had this year, including loose bolts and damaged wings

Various Reddit users have even discussed the aftermath of United Airlines flight UA354 diverting to Denver International Airport after its right wing was damaged.

'Outside just a piece of the leading edge slat that peaked away,' a Reddit user wrote.

'Would have to be a much greater section to adversely affect the flying capabilities of the plane.'

Social media users who watched Cockpit King's video were much harsher, and more than one Instagram user claimed to be pilots.

One wrote: 'You wouldn't be able to breath if that hole went to where you think it went.'

'If there was a hole in the plane you'd be bleeding from your ears,' another Instagram user claimed.

At least three believed it wasn't a hole and insulted King Cockpit's aviation knowledge.

'It's obviously not a hole to the outside elements, because if it was, the cabin would depressurize and the pilot would declare an emergency and return to land,' one added. DailyMail.com reached out to United Airlines for comment.
