University of Michigan student from China charged with illegal voting in Ann Arbor

A University of Michigan student who is not a U.S. citizen is facing criminal charges for allegedly illegally registering to vote and casting a ballot at an early voting site in Ann Arbor.
Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson and Washtenaw County Prosecutor Eli Savit announced the criminal charges on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
The student later contacted the local clerk‘s office, asking if he could get his ballot back, according to the Secretary of State’s office.
The student is being charged as an unauthorized elector attempting to vote and for perjury for making a false affidavit for the purpose of securing voter registration.
“Only U.S. citizens can register and vote in our elections. It is illegal to lie on any registration forms or voting applications about one’s citizenship status. Doing so is a felony,” according to the joint statement.
“We are grateful for the swift action of the clerk in this case, who took the appropriate steps and referred the case to law enforcement. We are also grateful to law enforcement for swiftly and thoroughly investigating this case. Anyone who attempts to vote illegally faces significant consequences, including but not limited to arrest and prosecution.” The 19-year-old student, who is from China, cast a ballot on Sunday, Oct. 27, the Secretary of State’s office confirmed, adding that the student’s ballot was entered into the tabulator and is expected to be counted.

I’m sure the Chinese Commies have instructed their agents in swing states to do their best to register and vote for Kamala and Tampon Timmy. They probably already have plans on how to get rid of Kamala and get their Manchurian Candidate Walz installed as their puppet President.

The poor student is facing a felony, probably deportation back to China (and what he faces there could be really harsh punishment in comparison to just jail time in the US).
My curiosity is about who this student voted for and if he was hoping to gain favor with (or money from) the Chinese Government or not. Either way, publishing who this alleged felon voted for would answer many questions. To turn himself in and request his ballot back, was at least an act of remorse. His stupidity probably has cost him his career and future.
