NYPD officers driving an unmarked squad car ran over a woman who was lying on a Brooklyn street Wednesday night, killing her, according to police sources and a witness.

The plainclothes officers were driving the undercover Toyota minivan northbound on Pennsylvania Avenue in East New York when they struck the unidentified woman at 6:10 p.m., sources said.

The woman was lying in the middle of the road before she was hit by the minivan, cops said.

She suffered injuries to her head and was rushed to Brookfield Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said.

A TLC driver who was behind the minivan saw the unmarked vehicle swerve in front of him and then saw the woman on the ground, he said at the site of the crash.

He was taxiing a nurse at the time who asked him to pull over so she could assist the gravely wounded woman, he said.
