In a statement on Sunday night, Esmaeil Baqaei strongly condemned the ongoing criminal actions of the Zionist regime in the occupied Palestinian territories.
“It is shameful that, under the cover of the international community’s silence and human rights institutions’ abdication of responsibility, and alongside the impunity granted to the rogue Zionist regime and the continued US support for Israel, we are witnessing the daily perpetration of all kinds of crimes and brutal actions by this regime against the Palestinian people,” the Iranian spokesman said.
“The massacre of more than seventy innocent Palestinian women and children in Beit Lahia last night until this morning, along with the savage assault by extremist Zionist settlers on Al-Aqsa Mosque, indicates a dangerous, organized plan by the apartheid Zionist regime to erase the identity of the Palestinian people and the sacred sites of this holy land, especially Al-Aqsa Mosque,” he added.
Baqaei also warned of the horrific and unpredictable consequences of the ongoing crimes and aggressions by the Zionists against the Palestinian people.
He called for an immediate, decisive, and deterrent response from the international community and Islamic governments to hold the criminal leaders of this regime accountable.
The spokesman noted that Iran, with firm belief in the divine promise, will remain committed to its moral, Islamic, and legal responsibility in supporting the legitimate resistance of the Palestinian people against occupation and apartheid.
