Verdansk is missing one big thing in Black Ops 6 return and Warzone players are delighted

Call of Duty players have noticed one big thing is missing from Verdansk ahead of its return to Warzone in Black Ops 6 Season 3, and they’re delighted.

Ever since Verdansk left Warzone when Call of Duty: Vanguard was released, COD fans have been desperate for the original map to return. Whether that be because it brings a nostalgic feel back to when the game was good, or whether they think it is the perfect map, fans have wanted it back for a while.

Well, Black Ops 6 has always held the key to that return. There have been rumors that it would come back as soon as the new game and battle royale integrated. However, it’s been held off until Season 3. 

The relaunch of the original Warzone map is just around the corner, and the COD devs have started showing off some of the upgrades that will greet fans come April 3. 

No redeploy balloons on Verdansk

Despite new lighting, the map will retain the majority of its original features – that means the train station isn’t usable – but that also means that there won’t be any Redelop Balloons scattered around the map. 

“Not a single redeploy zip line in the map. Beautiful,” YouTuber TacticalBrit posted on X, formerly Twitter. “Not a single redeploy balloon in sight,” streamer xFleXy_ added, attaching the love heart eyes emoji. 

“I’ve noticed there appears to be ZERO redeploy balloons. Vehicles becoming a bigger part of the game again? Not gonna complain, people have become too dependent on balloons since they were introduced and made it too easy to drop on teams with zero time to react,” another player added. “Good no noobie redeployment drones,” another chimed in.

The lack of redeploy balloons isn’t the only thing that fans have been celebrating either. 

The devs confirmed that there will be additional cover around the map too, something that has been requested for a while.
