Is this "Gold Standard" Iowa pollster, J. Ann Selzer, really this clueless or is she willing to flush her reputation down the toilet in a pathetic attempt stop the impending Trumpocalypse? Never again can Selzer be trusted. She has traded her pollster jersey for that of a propagandist.

In her Wikipedia entry this already appears:

“Prior to the 2024 United States presidential election, Selzer & Co. released their final Iowa poll that had Kamala Harris leading Trump 47% to 44% in the state, markedly different from other polls that showed Trump with a significant lead.[18] Trump criticized the accuracy of the poll. Selzer responded by saying the poll used the same methodology as in 2016 and 2020, and that, “It would not be in my best interest, or that of my clients—The Des Moines Register and Mediacom—to conjure fake numbers.”[19]

Obviously, it would be VERY MUCH in the interest of her clilents to do exactly that. But in fact I think she got her BS numbers simply through incompetence. She is a very unimpressive person. And stupid.

I didn’t take this as the woman not knowing what the ‘D’ and ‘R’ stood for; she just didn’t seem to understand the meaning of the format shown.
