With tons of extraction shooters attempting to be noticed at the same time, one game has taken a rather unique approach by paying you to play.
Extraction shooters have become one of gaming’s biggest trends at the moment, with Arc Raiders, Marathon, Helldivers 2, Delta Force, and of course, Escape from Tarkov all claiming plenty of players’ time. But they’re all fighting for players’ attention in different ways. Most promise bigger maps, better gunplay, or more loot, meaning any new game on the scene needs to bring something new.
Well, that’s exactly what one game is doing by offering cash prizes for your skills.
BR1: Infinite promises players real money for kills and playtime
Known as BR1: Infinite, the extraction shooter has recently gone viral after revealing a system that claims to reward players with real money for playing. According to the game’s official X account, players can earn $10 per hour simply by playing, as well as $1 for every kill they secure during a match.

There are multiple Risk modes available, ranging from $0.10 up to $10, allowing players to choose how much they want to stake before entering a game. The title also features cash drops that can be looted and extracted, while players can also earn and sell skins and operatives. On top of that, the developers say creators can earn a 25% revenue share through the game’s creator program.
Of course, there are some catches, though. The number of available player slots is limited, and the game is currently only available on PC. On top of that, there’s a $1 spawn fee, so making good money will depend heavily on surviving matches and outperforming other players.
Outside of its unusual reward system, BR1: Infinite is a third-person extraction shooter where players fight across futuristic arenas, collecting loot before attempting to extract safely. Like other games in the genre, dying means losing what you’ve collected, adding another layer of risk to every encounter.
Whether the model proves sustainable remains to be seen, but it has certainly grabbed attention online, and according to the game’s official account, players have already won more than $100,000 by playing BR1: Infinite.
