Activision shared the official map layout and POIs for the Verdansk remake coming to Warzone Season 3, and it’s precisely what longtime series veterans wanted.

On April 3, Warzone’s original map – Verdansk – will finally re-open its doors for the first time in four years, and a leak revealed that the map layout closely resembles the original 2020 version.

However, players feared massive map changes after the reveal trailer showed multiple locations on the map destroyed or on fire. Some players didn’t react well to the speculation, but others started to create a list of what they’d like to see changed.

These suggestions included opening the train station, adding new POIs, or more cover to prevent players from running across open fields or through the woods. Activision cleared up any confusion by sharing an image of the POIs.

Warzone confirms Verdansk POIs

Activision revealed the map layout for Verdansk, and it’s the same as the original.

Every iconic POI, such as Storage Town, Superstore, and Promenade, is back. The map image reveals the layout is the same, but it doesn’t confirm whether any POIs have changed.

Leaks suggest that the POIs will be slightly changed. For example, players can enter the stadium, but the roof will be closed. In addition, the interior of the train station will be closed, but the train will be running. Both of those changes are different from the original map.

TheGhostOfHope did report that the interior of the train station will be opened in a future update, leading fans to believe there will be other changes as well.

Along with the original map, The first trailer for Verdank’s confirmed that three iconic weapons will be added to Warzone and Black Ops 6 Season 3: the Kilo 141 and CR-56 AMAX assault rifles, as well as the HDR sniper.
